deviantART's 11th birthday made me realise it had almost been 12 months since my last journal entry.
Upon noticing this I began reflecting on my past year of artistic involvement.
I feel that throughout the year my art and my motives has become a lot more politically based. When I say politically I don't mean supporting a party but rather my ideals.
You may remember my piece 'Gamer Liberty' submitted on December 31, 2009 was supporting an R18+ for video games in Australia, this is now expected to happy very soon!
I'm also pleased to see WikiLeaks, a group I donate to and support has been nominated for a noble peace prize

I have entered the Australian Stencil Art Prize 2011, however I was disappointed with my main piece and at the last minute decided to submit as-well..
I have nominated myself to become art captain next year, hopefully this and the fact that I am doing Art Production as a year 12 course will encourage me to create more.
I feel I need more of a direction, I am no longer sure of my career options/choices. Everyone assumes I will go into art, media or politics, yet this is not the direction I am heading in.
